WHY DO WE NEED HISTORY
Author’s cycle of meetings of prof. dr. hab. Edmund Kizik
Tomasz Kopoczyński (TK) invites you
This is an authorial series of meetings of Prof. Edmund Kizik, an employee of the History Institute of the University of Gdańsk and the History Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, an outstanding expert in modern history. Prof. Kizik’s guests are excellent historians from three countries: Germany, Ukraine and Poland. This diverse perspective is intended not only to enable in-depth reflection on the topic indicated in the title of the series, but also to acquaint oneself with interesting, often completely unknown aspects of our common – but also disconnected – history. The space of each meeting is a place particularly conducive to this type of reflection – the Sierakowski Manor House in Sopot.
